I hope I'm posting this in the right place! If not, please redirect me :)

I did a search for this issue that yielded several threads but most of them are incomplete (problem not completely resolved) and/or the questions I need answers to haven't been answered. A friend of mine wants to burn an ISO onto a DVD-R to run on a modded PS2. The ISO is 4.3gb and we're planning on using Maxell DVD-R's.

The problem is neither of us have done this on a mac (I haven't done it before at all actually) and that's all we have at our disposal. We're using a Macbook Pro (if that matters) that's equipped with Disc Utility and Toast 8 Titanium (these seem to be popular recommendations). Also, we have the ISO file on the hard drive. I noticed that in other threads the basic write iso straight to dvd-r method was recommended but nobody replied with the final verdict on whether that was the ultimate solution to getting the ISO files to run on a PS2 so we tried doing that in Toast under the ISO 9660 option but a window telling us that "CD-ROM XA of Audio tracks cannot be written to DVD" comes up. Are we missing something?

How can we get the ISO onto the dvd-r to play on a PS2?
