Has anybody found a way to use the autoboot disc to downgrade?

My brother upgraded to 3.3U, and now he wants a modchip,
I was going to install the DVD player, but can't now.

If anybody has a way without using TP, please post here.

I am going to do some of my own experiments and post back.
