if your in the uk then you need to flash your box super with new firmware which you will find in link below. To do this you will need a null modem rs232 cable and the firmware. When you have this come back and someone will alawys help you with flashing the new FW.

The fix is in the box super folder and is dat 30/11/08

yea girv I know it was the eurovox thread but just gave you the link for the cables, the one i use and that is suited to my computer is a 9 pin female to female null modem rs232 cable, (this cable has 9 holes either end instead of pins which would make it a male, don't know wheteher this helps. the box takes the female and if your computer is the same then you need the female to female.;) the connector on the box is a male so it take s the female connection, If you have a computer or laptop without a 9 pin serial socket you will still need the Female to Female Serial Null Modem Cable as above and a USB to Serial DB9 Adaptor to make it fit into your USB port.

goodnight girv, as I said I think you need the female to female null modem rs232 cable with the USB to Serial DB9 Adaptor to make it fit into your USB port. As the box will take the female end but with what you have posted your PC won't.
