DVD Decryptor Help with Ripit4me

Hi, I got an error while using ripit4me and dvddecryptor to backup a dvd. It got through first steps of ripit4me fine but when dvddecryptor opened up automatically, i got an error that said

"Failed to set data for DVDDecryptorPlayDVDMovieONArrival"

and it would not continue. I am running this on my laptop with vista OS. Does anyone have anyidea what this message means? thanks, appreciate it.

RipIt4Me is no longer updated.
Try DVDFab HD Decrypter.

hi, i know its no longer updated but its what i always use, i like it and it works fine on my older computer it's just i'm getting the error on my new computer that i just installed ripit4me and dvdd recently on. i am thinking one of the settings in decryptor needs to be changed. it's not ripit4me thats giving me the error is dvddcryptor. if possible i would like to continue to use ripit4me with dvdd as i always did. i just need more info on the error i am getting to try to fix it/change a setting, whatever. thanks for responding

Well that's gonna be hard finding that answer since the site that had all the RipIt4Me answers was court ordered to remove all traces of it. Maybe someone out there has save them.
What version of RipIt4Me are you using?

Go to this site:

You will see a link called Ripit4me program with all the needed programs (2.03MB) .
Download and install.

Are you using RI4M v1710? Try to uninstall DVD Decrypter, reinstall it back on and go to settings, then set it all to "default". Now try again.

i was wondering if your other computer was also using vista. I am having the same problems burning movies on my laptop with these programs. I have then used the dvdfab and it does everthing fine but once the movie is burnt it plays correctly on my laptop but not in my dvd player or ps3. My other computer has xp in it so was wondering if this is a vista thing.
