been reading loads of rumours about starview 1 that it wont be updated is this true do i need to buy a new box or is it just crap and if its true whats the best one to go for thanks

Not just starview mate all boxes are in trouble as a ECM has been implemented to stop them working.

I'm sure given time there will be an update for every type of box, give them a chance as in less than a week loads of boxes have had a fix, I'm waiting on a fix for a St*rview 1 myself but these things take time.
As for all boxes not working then the fix i had for my St*rview 3 worked smashing, don't panic, if V*rgin are paying off over 2000 people and are introducing their HD and V+ services then they will do this to try and get new customers, relax and sit tight and let's just see what unfolds, i'm sure the peeps who run this site will update us asap, have they let us down yet?

Hi all
Could some one advise me on what box i have. It looks like my super box 3 but it has 20x7 vents on top. Does anyone have any idea what this is and if the update is available for it

What does it say on the front top left, Starview, (SV1) The Box (SV2) or The Box Super (SV3).
