Hi I am having trouble with my chipped ps2, I can load up original games fine but come up with the insert a ps2 disk with backups. I thought maybe the chip was no good so purchased a memor32 and still have the same prob unless I havent done the right thing with the mem32. Any help or advice much appreciated.

What is the modchip you are using?

With the memor32, I used firmware 1.2e if you have a US or PAL PS2.

You then need to patch the ISO first with a Disk patcher, then burn the ISO with imgburn on DVD-R at 4x speed.

And also with your memor32 you can use ESR.ELF to play the patched backups, it has way more compatibility.

You just need to copy the ESR.ELF to your mc, then load using a trigger button on the PS2 controller.

You also may have to disable your chip to work with memor32, but I am not sure.
