I've just installed the WiiKey2 Solderless. Simple and easy install, no issues. I've configured it and am ready to rock. My question is regarding backing up games. I have a legitimate reason for backup, mainly that I play a few games for hours at a time, and I'd rather have a backup in case my discs wear out :-)

There was mention of backup to sd. How can this be done?

Also, I know Homebrew has an FTPii app. Can I transfer a game from sd to my pc via this method?

By the way, got a backup solution that doesn't require an LG cd-rom like the sticky:

wiihttpd + isoloader

This method allows you to backup games via your local network by streaming the iso from a local web server. It works beautifully and doesn't require any additional hardware/procedures. I've also managed to get it working with the LAN adapter, so it's a lot faster than the wireless.

FYI: This is what I was looking for.

Actually the link in the Sticky is not the same as I have mentioned, the same concept but a different tool. I'm not knocking the sticky, just pointing out that it does not cover all ways to backup wii games, just the two. There are other ways that could be considered superior.
