I've tried a few times to get a valid iso image for Homebrew from:

http://hbc.hackmii.com/dist/the_homebrew_channel-beta_8-iso-USA.tar.gz

Both on Windows and Linux the ISO image (installer.iso) is not recognized as a valid ISO 9660 image.

How do I burn this image for use with my unlocked Wii?

Wii disk images cannot be opened by iso reading programs. They can however, still be burned. I dont know what programs you're trying but try imgburn.

Also, just thought I'd add that unless you have firmware 3.2 on your wii or lower that homebrew channel installer iso wont work.

Thanks for the help. I was using DVDDecrypter and K3B and they both failed. ImgBurn worked fine.

I figured out I'm on 3.4. However, the hack is not functioning, probably because I've got WiiKey2 installed. I know there is a patch for drivechips. How do I do this?
