Hi guys. I'm posting this thread to see how you guys feel about Fab including the Mobile option in Plat and Gold while selling Mobile apart. I love the program. I have Plat, but I've yet to use the Mobile option. Like I said. Yet. I feel having a only DVD proggie would of been a great option as bundles tend to get complicated or cause issues. ie: Nero. I know once in a while they'll throw out a doosie like the recent The Dark Knight and either Fab or ANYdvd will have to come out w/a quick update to squash it and that's fine. What has irked me a bit lately is that the Mobile option uses way more encoders and other software and thus has more issues which have to be updated as well. Now because it's bundled w/Plat or Gold we're having to wait for a new update/version because of this, and it's only common sense to upgrade to the latest version or update. If Plat or Gold were completely apart from the Mobile option there would be no need for this. So let me here some input on what you guys think, feel or suggest about this and whether or not you can identify w/this point. I mean Mobile is sold on it's own so I quite don't see why they have to bundle it w/Plat or Gold which like I said are excellent in what they do. Thnx.

I've used the mobile option a few times. Usually a friend asks me to compress their disks into a fomat they need (cell phone, zune, ipod) for their device. I have maybe used it 10-15 times in the past year.

I can see your point in not wanting to have the mobile option bundled with the platinum/gold versions, but it is nice to use when it is there.

The optional mobile options is not the same as VideoFab.
The DVDFab mobile option is for those who want to convert their DVD movies to another format. I don't use it simply because there are other programs out there that produce better results.
VideoFab is supposed to convert files such as AVI or WMV to other formats.
I personally do not care for either of them.

I know they're different but still are sold separately. >http://dvdfab.com/dvd-fab-mobile.htm I could care less about it myself and would of still paid $49.99 for Plat. I'll write to Fab and suggest it. Can't hurt. Thnx guys. I'm sure there are others that feel this way also.
