Hello, I hate to bother you but i need to pick someones brain over this one. I have a version 9 ps2, the mb is a gb 26 and i have it modded with a modbo 4.0. Recently i put a 400c laser in it to get it to read cds and dvd as the hd7 laser went and took a s!@#T. Everything was going good but the laser was clicking as if it were having tracking issues. Last night i put free mcboot on the memory card so i wouldnt have to deal with the laser too much. By the way i have a refurbished hd7 laser on its way. Now i read somewhere in the forums that free mc boot may have an exploit that will stop the dvd drive from reading, dont know about that. That is one question. The next issue, the 400c laser stopped reading dvds and cds, no small wonder there, I tweaked the pots on it to try to get it to read. It did for a while there until it finally gave up the ghost and the spindle stopped turning. Now the laser
will jump but the spindle wont budge. I need to know what your take is on this. I keep wondering if i burnt out the la chip or ba chip or a fuse, or it could be the free mc boot exploit i have heard about. If you can help me get this thing up and running I will recomend you for saint hood and send you the winning lotto ticket if i get it.

Any kind of help is greatly appreciated.
