I recently went from 3.40 oe-a to 3.52 m33-4. What would be a reason to go above this? I really jus play my back ups and very few home brew games.. I just wana keep up so i can keep playing the latest back up games. And if it is better to go up than what is the easiest way to get there?

I recently updated my firmware to 5.00mm3. There are alot more options and menus to play around with. Also there is PSN access and a few more bells and wistles I havent really messed around with yet. I really just use it for homebrews and a couple of ISO's. I only really updated because there were a few games I couldn't play unless I bumped it up

Oh, BTW, when I updated, I had to make three firmware jumps. 3.40oe-a, to 3.52m33, then 4.xxm33 (sorry I forgot which one it was) then 5.00m33.

Thanks alot, this is probably why some of the more recent games dont load for me. I can see them in the game folder then it goes to load and screen goes black. i guess i will try it out and go through the proper ways to get there. Thanks for your post.
