Having major problems ripping this dvd! I normally use Ripit4me with DvdDecrypter, FixVTS or VobBlanker & DvdShrink which will still rip 95% of current dvds & if that fails then DvdFab (in movie only mode if necessary). However neither will deal with this dvd. DvdDecrypter will not read the initial vob file & DvdFab grinds to a halt at about 27%. Help please!!

Iluvendo is correct, some movie (exceedingly recent ones) dvdfab4120 backed them up while the newer versions of fab would not. Please try it, you have nothing to lose :)

Update DvdFab to most current version (5.2.0.5) and try ripping movie only.
EDIT: disable Anydvd before ripping with DvdFab.

Sounds like you have the dreaded bad pressing. Exchange disc and retry (assuming the optical surface is clean)

No, No, Lamchops is saying that your disc may be bad. You need to go back to the store you bought your dvd from and exchange it for another one.

this DVD isn't released where I live till 12/16/08 (USA -east coast). Maybe this is why you can't copy it yet...... they need time to update the programs so it can handle this release.

I'm not old school, but as Grandma used to say K.I.S.S, so what I usually start out with is DVD Shrink, with Any DVD, and burn with Clone DVD. It work on this one.
