I'm not sure whether this question should go here or elsewhere, but since it deals with the Wii, I figure it couldn't hurt...

I just recently got my Wii modded and figured it wouldn't hurt to back up a bunch of my games, though the .iso files I have are torrented since I'm too lazy to rip them myself. :p I've been following the burning tutorial on the forums already, but this is my problem:

I'm using Memorex DVD-R and Maxell DVD-R for my media and my drive is a tsstcorp dvd+-rw ts-l632H ata device, program to burn is Roxio Creator DE. For some reason, my drive won't acknowledge the DVD-Rs and I have no idea why that is. It's never done that before. A little help please?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I would use a program called Imgburn for burning the Wii games. Also, Memorex DVD-R didn't seem to work for me, so I wouldn't really try it (or it could just be me). I myself successfully burnt Wii games on Staples DVD+R's, so I guess there are a lot of brands that work out there; some just work better than others.

I use nero. That works the best for me.

Both Nero and Imgburn seem to do the trick. Grab yourself some Verbatim DVD-R and burn them at 4x.

Thanks, guys! ImgBurn seemed to have done the trick. :)

Also, I haven't been able to find this anywhere (maybe I'm just blind), but is the process for burning GC games the same? Will it work on the Wii?
