Whenever I try to turn an AVI into MPEG-2 an error will occur and not work. I've tried dozens of different AVI's and every combo of options. Nothing works. One of the problems that has occurred is "Invalid pointer operation". Any suggestions or other ways to put AVI onto a DVD-R?

Wish I could help, but I am having the same problem...are you also using TMPGEnc v2.58.44.152?
