hi there,

ive been downloading sum blu ray on my pc and im looking to simply put it on my ext hard drive and play it thru my ps3. i usually do this with divx files and it works fine. will i b able to simply put the bluray file on the hard drive and play it on my ps3. if not, is it possible to do so? thanks

As long as your external HDD has a fat32 partition and the movie in question is smaller than 4GB in size, then yeah, why not.

...as long as it's in a format that the PS3 recognizes.
