Dvd Burner stopped reading laser media

Hi all, my Panasonic LF-D321u burner decided to stop reading laser media which worked perfectly only a week ago, it reads and plays anything else but when i go to burn a dvd and insert a blank laser dvd-r it just keeps trying to read it. I tried a princo and it picked it up straight away, I thought it may b just a faulty disc but Ive tried from 4 diferernt packs. Ive burnt many times b4 using nero and laser dvd-r and they worked perfect. This is so frustrating. I tried dvd decrypter to see if it could read using that, and it come up with a message on the bottom saying ID CRC or ECC error. Could someone please help on this I would b forever greatful. This is the first problem ive had with this burner.
