As long as it has the following inputs:
Audio Video (red, white, yellow plugs)
Component (Red, Blue, Green inputs normally located besides AV jacks)
HDMI
i have red white and yellow jacks at the front of my tv, my ps2 works normally with a scart plug, does the ps3 works normally on my tv with a scart plug?
Doesnt it? My PS3 came with a scart adaptor into which you plug the AV cables into. Maybe only european ones do...
But really you want a TV with hdmi ports. Even though an old TV with AV plugs/a scart socket can use used with the PS3, the picture quality on the scart is worse.
It's OK to play with but any small writing that you may need to read in any game will be blurred and hard to read. I had this problem with GTA4 on a HDTV, so ended up buying a hdmi cable which made things a lot better!
It's not that a game "won't work." If you can get a signal to the TV, then all games will work. The image displayed may not be good enough to enjoy playing. A lot of motion, and text will be blurry, and could cause headaches for some. I've gotten dizzy playing Burnout Paradise on a 36" SD TV using S-Video.
