As you know Swap Magic 3.6 comes on two disks, one for regular CD, and one for DVD type
I burned the CD iso image on a CD, plugged it in my slim play station 2, powered it up, then I got "please make sure to use a Play Station 2 Disk format" message

Could someone tell me why Swap Magic is not booting up? I followed the instructions Swap Magic has on their website!
While searching online, I found that some resellers sell DVD disc only. Can I buy the DVD disc only, or do I have to buy both of them?
I already have the Flip Top Cover for my slim PS2.
Please tell me if I am on the right track, I have two questions:
1- Why is there CD and DVD versions of Swap Magic. Swap Magic website wasn't much of help.
2- Am I on the right track to be able to play modified games? I already have Guitar Hero II & III but I would like to play songs that don't come with the game itself (songs as those buy Joe Satriani) such as this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N8XFyfy3Kc
swap magiccd is for cd games and swap magic dvd is for dvd games.
yes you are on the right track, swap magic dvd will boot a custom guitar hero i have done this
