Help with solderless wiikey 2

I didn't find any info on this subject anywhere else. I just bought a solderless wiikey 2 and installed it. I tested it working, but when I put the wii back together it would work for a few minutes and stop. When I open it back up the chip is loose and I can fix it and it will work a few more minutes, before stopping again. Sometimes just ejecting and reinserting the game will make it work again. At this point this thing is useless if it keeps doing this. Any ideas how I can fix it or am I just out $65? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Make sure it is seated down on the chipset all the way. You also might want to take some tape and tape it down.

The wiiclip, if not installed properly, can have a tendency to come loose.

Make sure that the wiiclip socket installs all the way down to the circuit board.

If properly installed, it should hold by friction and not come loose without substantial effort.
