hi i saw a PSP 2003 Slim and Lite BRAND NEW on ebay with fw 3.80 and was just wonderng if this can successfully be flashed

That particular one can be flashed-its the ones with 4.01 firmware out of the box that cannot be flashed at this time as they have the TA088v3 motherboard. (some piano black models as well as the blue madden 09 bundles are the ones to avoid)

hi all im a newby to this forum but not a newby to downgrading psp.
today i flashed a version 2003 slim and lite piano black with 401 filmware installed brand new out of the box.installed 5.00m33-4

I have a PSP-2003 with Firmware version 5.03 on it. Just bought it from someone at work so not sure what the firmware was originally. Can this be hacked?

most likely you can though it would help if you had more information like the color, serial or battery date but even then you should get a pandora battery online for about $7 and make a magic memory stick with psp pandora deluxe and try it out just because its the fool proof way of checking.

Ok cheers, its the PIANO BLACK PSP-2003PB. Serial no. hb0790497 with date code 8c. Current system software is 5.03.
