hello people!!!

i'm planning to buy PSP for my little girl for xmas. though, i don't have any idea on things that are to be considered in buying.

should it be slim or fat.

what firmware should it be. i can save money if i'll buy from s0ny with unmodified firmware and do the upgrade/downgrade myself.

and of course, just like everybody, would love to use homebrewed games in the memory.

would there be disadvantages if memory will be 8gb?

please help.

haha, well lets see...
i have an 8gig on a modded psp slim and it works fine...its a Lexar memory stick...
well it depends what you like, i believe that all fat models at the moment can be modded...
the slims im sure can be modded, but only some...some slim models are coming out with a motherboard that prevents it from being modded...the 3000(the newes ones) models cant be modded at all...
if you buy it from sony its more likely to probably come with the motherboard that cant be modded...
