Nintendo, has announced a deal with the large book publisher HarperCollins to make many "literary classics" available as e-books on the DS portable gaming system.
The 100 titles available at launch will include books from Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and Charles Dickens. Each title will cost £20 and will be available in the UK at launch only.

I never wanted a Nintendo DS until I was on a horrendously long flight and the girl next to me whipped one out and started playing. I was incredibly jealous. If I had a monitor and power hookups I could have busted out my Xbox 360 though...

that makes more sense... however, even then, the DS got two tiny screens, no thanks. Even the PSP's screen is too small :( I'll stick to actual books, lol. Well, if the Kindle or the Sony Digital Book Reader gets cheaper (say $100, lol, in my dreams)...
