Hi

I am kinda new to the Wii world, so please bear w/ me :)

I have NTSC Wii w/ version 3.1u FW. I don't know which modchip,
I have in there as that was modded in Asia. I have been able to
use backup after purchasing backups or downloading the ISOs. In
some instances I had to use WizzleDizzleSizzle (WDS) to block
updates and/or change the region code. I was able to do this
effectively for a few games. In some cases like Mario Kart, Konami
I did allow the upgrade and had no issues.

Recently I downloaded GH3 from (edited by ddp).
WDS didn't show any issues and I went ahead w/ the requested upgrade.
Now after the "FW upgrade" from disk, I have duplicate channels for
Weather, ... and when I go to check the FW version I get the "opera
error screen".

Wondering how I can fix this. I was under the impression that
duplicate channels only happen when I use a different region disk
to do an upgrade.

I heard that 3.3u (I presume the latest FW from Nintendo) bricks the
modded Wiis. What are my options to get rid of the Opera error
screen, remove duplicate channels, and upgrade to the latest FW
safely.

Thanks in advance.
