Great to be back on afterdawn since the PS2 days. Anywho's i have a Wii now and i am a bit off on the Wii scene.

The scenario: I'm trying to burn some wii iso's with a Toshiba TSSTCORP TS-l632d and folks in the forums have mentioned that it's a replica of a Samsung SN-S082D. I'm burning onto a Memorex DVD-R until i get some quality Verbatims. Can someone help me with the booktype settings? Toshiba isnt available as a booktype setting in ImgBurn and i'm a bit clueless as to how to set and burn the media in DVDinfoPro (recommended in another forum). I maybe overcomplicating matters; can someone guide me in the right direction?

I don't see why you need to set booktype. AFIAK, Imgburn takes care of it automagically.

I have over 300 successful burns with Imgburn and never deviated from the default settings.

Ah, Simply because i have a bucket of CD coasters by my desk. Some games read for a few moments, some won't even bypass the CD loading screen. ImgBurn is great when I was burning PS2 games, but Wii games are a bit more stingy.

General guidelines for Wii .iso burns.

1. Good quality DVD-R SL media (Verbatim or TY Premium) 8x or better
2. Imgburn at 4x

I was using Memorex DVD +R SL but suffered from quality issues.

I have since switches to Verbatim 16X printable and TY 8X primtable (DVD-R SL) and the quality issues went away.
