1. Cursor in internet browser is moving by itself, even without the faceplate on. I'm pretty sure it's the rubber, because it's chipped, but is it the problem?

2. Some of the buttons on the button bar aren't working, the volume down and home button. But if i take out the circuit strip and put it back, it will work temporarily. Idea how to fix this?

3. Umd's are not reading. All i hear is a rapid clicking sound, but that's it. It won't even show an error. I'm not sure what the problem is.

What im going to say is probably useless but anyway
joystick: As you said your joystick has a bit of rubber chipped off, it could be that some rubber went down the stick and caused it to go crazy. Go to the website www.adcidmods.com and ask the people there. I know its not a big help but...

buttons: Well it could be that when you put back the casing on, the wires connecting it come lose or something.

UMD drive: It might be that your lens is broken and it just reads it even though it cant.

So basically go to www.acidmods.com
Ill try and find out more of your situation.
