PC reads UMD instead of mem stick when plugging in USB, how to fix?

this never happened before. I have been using my m33 3.71 software for a year now, why can I check?

press select in the xmb...
scroll down to "USB DEVICE" change it to memory stick

I tried that and still it reads the UMD and not the memory stick.....

well i guess you can just go into rcovery menu and enable usb from there

yea thatll help too...
but if it doesnt...
turn your psp completely off...
then turn it back on and hold "R" (press it right away after you flick the power switch on)
then youll get the recovery menu and the first option there says something like "toggle usb"
press that and that should do it
