PSP Not Turning On

Hi,
I have a psp-1001 with motherboar ta-86. The psp will turn on with a pandora battery and so i can install cfw. However, the psp will not turn on with a regular battery nor will it charge any battery.
I will be willing to purchase repair parts and fix it myself. What could be the problem and what pieces would i need.

After playing with it, the pandora battery can be used for regular gameplay if i start with the charger. When i put the pandora battery in, i go to battery information. it says like 50% left and charge is complete. Now the psp will turn on with a regular battery. It still says charge complete and power source is external. The percentage on this battery is 60%
