Hi all. As the subject states, I need to know where to buy a Crystal Chip, preferably a 2.0 Pro or a 2.0 SLE. I've already checked a whole lot of the known sites to see if I could find it, but with no luck. The only thing I could find were some chips such as the ModBo 4.0,the DS3UO (I think I spells that one wrong, lol), and the swap'n'magic thingy. From what I've heard and seen the Crystal Chip Pro 2.0 and the SLE are one of the best chips out there, so I'm determined to buy one of those only or another very good alternative. I really care about the features, but I'm more interested in compatibility and performance. I'd rather have a chip with less features than the others that works perfectly, than having a chip with tons of useless features that barely works. I don't care about the price, but I also don't want to buy it for more than it's supposed to sell for, y'know? I'd also appreciate if it was a site that is trusted, it makes it all better.

I also have one more request for you guys. I'm a beginner in mod-chipping and co. and I have absolutely no idea how to solder the chip or anything of the likes. I'm a fast learner and know how to follow directions verbatim. So I'd just like a guide on how to set the chip up, and also a soldering kit if you know a good, cheap one.

I still have some questions to ask, but I'm kind of in a hurry right now,so I'll just ask them when in another time.

Thanks in advance,

Frank

Well, if you want a modchip that has less feature, then the Duo 3 Ultra is the best. I use the Duo 3 Ultra for my V5 and V12 PS2 and they all works great at booting games. The Duo 3 Ultra only use 20 wires solution to solder the system. I bought these chip from www.modchipcentral.com. You should check it out! It's pretty cheap! The wiring diagrams are located on www.duomodchip.com so that you don't have to find it anywhere else.

I'll definitely check it out and see if it's what I want. Thanks again.
