codebreaker froze, wont restart

i was updating codes on the codebreaker 10 elf and everything worked as it nomrally would on the disc but when i went to select cheats no list was shown even though it says it has games on it. now if i restart the elf it doesnt show any games on the codelist and if i use the codebreaker retail disc it freezes where it says checking cheat codes and will not load. any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

i think i may have gotten it working i took out the hard drive on my ps2 and the codebreaker started normally will post the outcome after hdd format.

You may just have to use uLaunch.elf to manually delete or format the PP.SLUS-20202.1108.PCB partition on the hdd using the hdd partition manager.

Or you can just delete the PCB on the mc.

You may have to add your codes again. Perhaps you added to many at once.

Remember once you add codes , to press START, it will then save your codes.

the hdd format worked i also downloaded same version cb elf as the retail disc i have and all is well
