Cant boot into Iprep? why is it showing windows 98?

i got a dell dimension 4600.
i go to boot options and select 'usb flash device'.

it loads and displays:

'Microsoft (R) Windows 98
(C) Copyright Microsoft Corp 1981 -1999

C:\>

what is this?

the usb drive in windows is 'D'

all other usb, hard drives are disconnected.

anything i type it jus says bad command or file name.

what am i doing wrong??

i used iprep 008 and using firmware xtreme 1.4.

that is a command prompt, google the term. and read about commands.

theres all sorts of commands. how do i boot iprep on the usb?
shouldnt it automatically load it?

you cant use dos if you dont know the basic commands, and since flashing is dos based, it is figured that if you are doing this you at least have beginner experience in dos. just leran the simple commands, like how to change a drive would be a good start.

i know how to change drive and i know the basic commands.
found out the problem, it was the newest iprep not creating a proper boot disk (beta version)
anyway now im into iprep it says no drive detected.
anyone know how to get it detected?
