If like me you want to use TMPEG Xpress to create custom TV show DVD's for you own use and want to cram 4 hours onto one DVD remember most DVDR will use the half D-1 format to do this.

If you use the Resize(center) to 720x432 - (75% of the 576) using Lanscos3 (the best) then format a normal 720x576 DVD Video this will give an approximation of full D-1. Save this as a filter when you have got it correct , preview only after you have formatted a 720x576 DVD Video file to check if your resize has been successful.

N/B if you DVDR has recorded in Half D-1 is usually as a low bitrate less than the 9,200 used on Dual Layer DVD so you will never get perfect Full D-1 keep the encoded Mbps to around 2,300 the same as the original half D-1 recording.!!!
