Hi all
I want to place film extracts into a ppoint or similar slide show program, I am able to create the film extracts but don't know how to insert them into the slide show and more importantly use them. Has anyone the expertise to help?
Many thanks
M

Many thanks for the advice. My next task is to write my thesis and insert film extracts to illustrate the discussion. If anyone has any ideas how to do this you might save my mind over the next twelve months
Best wishes to you

I am assuming that your thesis will be reviewed by some different people? The problem with what you want is that if you'll have to pass that paper around, you cannot print it,and you cannot expect everyone to have the proper codecs/player installed to be able to view the clips.

Thanks for the thoughts. Isn't it true though that most people use word documents, so isn't there a way that word can remain as an electronic document and some how the film connection is inserted in the document? In this way the thesis remains as a document on a thumbdrive and/or on a hard drive protected with all the necessary wards and pentagrams of the electronic world so that noone can access the document except for reading. The area that I am working in has some very interesting developments that I am not sure have been explored yet. Film as references in typed out documents is going to be an important area for researchers as film becomes one of the major texts for analysis by all sorts of different students and researchers from high school through to professorial level.
