I want to play snes games on my psp but I need serious help with everything, I havent found any other type of help online , but I hope to find it here. Ok so from what I've seen you need to have a certain software version on your psp right now my psp PSP-1001 K (black) with ver 3.40 (is this good), also most vids on youtube etc.. show you how to download an snes emulator called SNESPSP_TYL Standard Version v0.4.2 which I downloaded already.

I was trying to follow a guide found here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/537964

step 5. Now open the 14072_Snes9xTYL___quicksave_autofire_patch_by_davex file.
I did not see such file?.

Also what is the game 150 folder I see so much, is this something I have to have before doing anything else? if so, plz show me how to go about downloading it and installation.

As you can see I need help form the start all the way to the end, if anyone can take time to help me out I'd appreciate it in advance.

You will need to install custom firmware to the PSP before you can use the Emulator. Go to the Ultimate Sticky thread at the top of the PSP forum and follow 1 of the multiple guides to install custom firmware to the PSP.
