Select DVD video menus on PS3??

Hi Im looking to know if anyone knows how to control dvd chapter menus with the ps3 joypad.
Everytime i insert a dvd film/tv epiosde into the ps3 the main dvd menu pops up which gives you the option of either playing the full movie or select a scene. However I dont know what to press to select these buttons on the ps3? I have tried all the buttons on the controller however i cant get the ps3 to play either just fast fwd, rewind and pause.
if anyone knows if this can be done and how to do it i would be very grateful

It should just be X.
you can press triangle to bring up the video control panel.

Pick up a ps3 remote, they are pretty cheap and easier to use than the pad for watching movies.

Hi i tried x and triangle.. they work fine when you play a normal .avi file, however they dont do much for a dvd file.
will the dvd remote allow you to move left and right on the dvd menus?

Yes
It works just like a normal remote, left, right, up and down.

cheers. I will see if i can pick one up cheap.
Its a shame the joypad doesnt do it... left and right just fast forwards the thing :(
