What motherboard is in this PSP 2001

Hi, I have a PSP-2001-IS\98891. This model has the new v3 motherborad?
It is the Sony PSP System (Ice Silver) - Limited Edition Daxter Entertainment Bundle Pack - 98891

Daxter Edition PSPs are moddable. I have exactly the same one.

Do you have a prob getting it to go in Service Mode?
I just got one today and I can't for the life of me get it to Mod.
I used the Cut trace Method(Correctly and Deep Enough) And I have 2 mem Sticks, with Diff apps on both of them.One is using the RainMMS(8G) The other is a 1G that came with the daxter Bundle in it has The Totalnewbieinstaller onit.

I have also tried to jump a wire on the 2 resisters on that Battery also,But the psp still boots up as nothing has been Done.
I myself am starting to wonder if this can be modded.Any Help?

What is the official firmware of you PSP?

Mine came with 3.72

I used Rain's MMS Maker 3.71

Hold L button before you put in the battery.

Make sure Pandora's battery is working ok.

I used 1gig memory stick that came with Daxter pack.

Ya mine Has got the 3.72 also,I am thinking I might have got a unmoddable Battery.Is there any thing else I can try?
Also My local Walmart I seen has some old psp batterys on clearance Couldn't I use a older psp battery?
Also this psp is straight out of box,and some things im finding that's questioning me is,
1.Do I have to run that pandora creater for battery before I make the cut?
2.Do I have to use a older psp battery that has CFW?

What sucks about this is there is so many methods about doing this mod.I like the older psp when All I did was firmware flash it all no cutting up battery's and such.
So ya All I got is a Brand new psp slim never even had a game run threw it yet.

From what I can tell it either is Pandora's battery or magic stick.

I bought pandora's battery and just followed directions and it worked.

I do not know about modding own battery. There is something about flashing status light that means pandora's battery is working. Other that that it might be magic stick.
