my psp is still 1.5 from the start and it can play backedup games off the memery card which is nice because i dont have to carry any of my games around but i havent used it for about a year now and was wondering what new cool things are there for it?

Just do what the readme says make sure you plug your psp in and run the M33 updater from your games menu on your psp when you are finished install this file

Its a update for the custom firmware you just installed with this custom firmware you can play games off the memory stick with out a disk in the drive + heeps of other things just google CFW M33 and you will find heeps about it :)

what you want to do is download the first to files i linked you to rename the offical psp update file to 500.PBP and place this in the same folder as the m33 update there should be a eboot file in this folder also. Then put it on your memory card and run the program On your psp from the games menu easy ;)

i dont plan on geting any new games for it so doing the custum firmare kind of a waste since i useing dev on 1.5 still :P only thing i kind of want is a full speed snes emulator for 1.5 dont need 5.0 what else beside being able to update does it do.. like what features does it add to the psp when i was looking at the sony one i can hook it up to my ps3 and do something

The custom firmware is the real sony firmware just with extra stuff built in you can play all your games from the games menu insted of loading devhook trust me custom firmware is the way if you do upgrade and i think you should its very good all the sony stuff with all the bonus goodies tell me and i can tell you how to install the 1.50 kernal on your psp with the custom firmware :) you can also use cool new themes on your psp and play psone games connect it to the ps3 connect it to the pc and play games through wireless or usb with irshell its bloody great devhook was cool but is bull now ;)

it should have a readme but it will just be the same thing that you done before Install this then try the 5.00 one :) and what i mean about the 1.50 kernal is you can install a small part of the 1.50 firmware on a fat psp with any custom firmware and doing that will let you play all your emulators and things :)

i formated it then tried updateing to 2.0 to see if that would get it to go now i think i have to find a downgrader and start over :P sigh o well

Ok installed everything looking at what sony added not much really.. nothing that i will use anyways might try the ps3 thats it...

o well :P now how do i get my games to play agian for the psp iso files i just took them full and put them on the card and played them is there a certian spot to install them or do i have to install some newer version of homebrew for it?

Hi sorry for the late reply just Put a folder on your memory stick Called ISO or Make a backup of your memory card and format it on the psp and it will add all the folders you need then just put your iso or cso files in the iso folder and then choose them from the menu i would also download CXMB and some custom themes to pimp out your psp hard :)
