wrong firmware ??

Help please, I think I made a major error and may have tried to load the wrong firmware in to my eurovox redbox, (the box was j-tagged a few months ago) I set it up to load EV1_FIX_301108_CORE_291105
It went through the download and the writing then said download failed, I tried again but it got no response from my box, now I just have four dashes lighting on the box
Is there any way I can salvage this, thanks for any help you can give
