ntfs external HDD on ps3?

Does anyone know a way to use an external hd using ntfs on my Ps3?

Its a 250 gig WD. It used to be FAT32. I converted it to ntfs so I could save full ISO's to it without having to split them. I now have 70 gigs of music, and about 60 gigs of ISO backups on it.
Since I converted it, I cant play music off it through the PS3, I now know that the ps3 can only read fat file systems.
But, is there a way, to still use it with my PS? I dont want to reformat it to convert it back, losing all the data on it.

Well... you COULD try connecting it to your PC and then networking it to your PS3 through any of those media servers. That'd be a bit out of the way, though. Beyond that, I don't really know.
