How to play backup discs when installed to hd?

Hello,

So with the ability to install the game to the Xbox HD I was wondering if there was any way to burn a disc that the xbox recognizes so that I don't have to use the original disc. I know all the xbox needs is the original disc in the hd as a "check" to make sure you have the game, but I would prefer to have a backup of my disc in there if possible. I don't want to mod anything or void any warranties, just want to burn a copy of my game.
