Ok this is the prob, when i use evox on xboxdash and change the microsoft dash to msxboxdash (also changing the evox.ini accordingly)
I can get to the microsoft dash with the chip on by clickin on msdash on my evox, but when i turn the chip off i get an error message.

So then I turned msxboxbios back into xboxdash and xboxdash (my evox)
into evoxdash, and reconfigard evox. ini accordingly. But then when i turn the x box on with or without the chip on i just get the microsoft dash.

can any1 help?

what bios? what chip?(just curious)

leave evox dash as evoxdash.xbe and xbox dash as xboxdash.xbe

most bios will load up alternate dashes before the ms dash in a certain boot order.
