i have JPN Wii console and with 3.2U and 1.9s with HBC IOS36 v12.18 and Gecko 1.07b
My list of game which show error or purple/green screen when launching game with Gecko OS/Gamma 0.3 :

PAL Game will be on Italic,if not it is NTSC

Star Wars Force Unleashed
Sypro Dawn of The Dragon
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicle*Able to play with 3.2J above but after revert to 3.2U i get an error*
Call of Duty 4 World At War
Big Brain Academy Wii Degree
Skate It
Rayman Raving Rabit TV Party

Just thought I'd reply here.

I've got a JPN Wii (3.2J) with an Argon chip in it and haven't had trouble playing some of these games, specifically:

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
Call of Duty: World at War

I haven't tried the other games. Anyway, I don't know what problem you're running into, but these games worked fine for me.

hmm so i think it must be my console faulty...idk why i get an "Error Occured Please Eject the disc and turn off the Wii"

hey im looking to purchase jap wii to play shippuden n tatsunoko vs capcom. is this a good choice since all new wii's have 3.3 updated

I think I remember getting a similar error a while back. IIRC, I was trying to run some WADs that hadn't been regionfree'd yet. I'm not sure what it means in your case though...it's also possible you just got a bad rip or had a bad burn. :\ I haven't fiddled around with changing the region on my Wii, so I can't really be of much help there.

You should be fine getting a new Japanese Wii. 3.3 shouldn't stop you from installing Homebrew or anything like that.
