DVtool split the mpg in 2 but the second part is missing the video

I used the DVtool to split the video (mpg) into 2 parts. However after splitting the second part only has the audio and is missing the video, while the first part is perfectly normal. I tried varying chunk sizes but that still doesn't help. WHat and I doing wrong, or could anyone please suggest what other good tool I can use for cutting video(mpg) files.
