pretty sure i burnt the iso correctly. the disc boots to the main screen but when i select a number it starts to do something for about ten seconds then says ready and then the pc reboots by itself.

im using version 1.9 on an old pc. the disc boots to the main screen with 4 options exactly as it is supose to but any selection just runs about 10 seconds then says ready then reboots pc? ive tried burning several veriations (with e partition and without) but all seem to do the same thing?

Did you double check the xbox harddrives master / slave setting ? I know its common sense but i have done it because of rushing .

and make sure that you have the ide tapes connected correctly . ie: old xbox hd on slave and new xbox hd on master . im assuming your upgrading your harddrive .

Is the new harddrive xbox compatible ? Otherthan what i have said which wasnt much i dont know . I hate xboxhdm . I use the program called chimp on my xbox to do the copyin and what not . To me its easier because my old dell just doesnt like hdm at all . That might be your best bet . Is grab a copy of chimp . And just do it from your xbox .

hey downloaded aid 4.30 disc and ran chimp with total success! now have soft modded box with 320 gig hdd only thing i want now is xbmc to boot as dash and im a happy chappy!! cheers everyone
