Hello once again all

So I have tried this in now a total of four different DVD burners around the house and nothing will work for it (with DVDFabPlatinum). It tries to read and then the whole "Reading/Writing Error Control... Error while reading! Please choose what to do?".

Anyone else facing the same difficulty?

This is the first one one a while besides The Dark Knight that has given me any trouble all year... so any suggestions help (as you all know!)

Cheers!

Hi,

But are we talking about that movie out about a year ago made with marionettes?

If so, that movie was HORRIBLE !

Is your DVDFab Up-to-Date?
Are You Trying to burn it On The Fly?
Is it a New Disc Out Of the Package?
More info would Help.

If The Movie Is Such a Bust Why Back it Up Anyway, Seems Like A Waste Of Time, Money and Effort. Just My Opinion.

I never said anything about the movie. As far as your opinion... My wife and I back up all of our movies, and to be honest I enjoy keeping her as happy as I can so this one is no exception. Also I just earned my Psy.D. so right now I feel that I can waste money on whatever I feel like wasting money on. However, I'm not putting in the time or effort into trying to figure out why it won't read... I started the post (as a courtesy) and sent my problem with it to Fengtao. That's it... the real experts will figure something out and until then I'll wait for the update.

Cheers!

My two cents is "Sometimes Opinions are Best Left Inside".

Contact slysoft @ slysoft.com for them to help you resolve your trial problem.

Try ripping w/ DVDFab HD Decrypter then open those files in Shrink.

No issue here using AnyDVD & Clone - almost full disc - just unchecked what special features I didn't want.

edit: SIBERT77 - let's remember to turn the caps lock off when posting.

Run it through DVD Fab when you see the error message click on ABORT. Then let it run again and hit ABORT once more. Then let it run again and hit ABORT. All together it took about 4 times before it began to read and load. Try it, it worked for me!

I blatantly pinched 7thsingers' reply from the Bangkok Dangerous thread -

Quote:
Quote from Fengtao on DvdFab's latest version 5.2.2.5

BTW, for new protection which was found on Bangkok Dangerous (US) and Disaster Movie (US), you can turn off PathPlayer and make "Main Movie" copy (select title 1) for now. We are working on it, and it should be supported very soon.

Yeah, mine too, but since alot of us subscribe to the dvdfab thread, I thought quite a few would see it....especially since I decided to put it in bold.

From Miss Binkie:

In the upper right corner of Fab click on the green check mark. Under DVD on the left hand side pick pathfinder - the option is there to disable.

Just remember if you disable it, you should go back in when you're done backing this one up and set it back to Enable When Necessary.

Had ther same issue running it thru FAB 5...unable to read. Ended up using MagicDVD Ripper 5.4. Worked like a charm. Even had the option to compress at the same time (if neccessary). Looks like the movie comes in at about 4.3gb...

Cheers!
