Hi there,
i wont ask were my channels are - just about the lead required.
i was in maplins and asked - they gave me a usb to serial convertor
Rs232 plug and play. my pc has installed the drivers. but i also had to get a gender chnager from male to female for the starview 2 - guy in the shop said everything should work. i've hooked it up to my pc but i dont see my starview on my pc how can i fix this?

as my pc has a female port.

if i get both leads null modem and usb instead - do i put them both together or something (sorry im a girl) or is the lead i have correct

It will show you what cable's/Hardware you need to flash your box. Take no notice of the firmware below as that is for the eurovox.
