Is a 450 Watt PSU sufficient..?

I was wondering if a 450 Watt power supply is not enough for a normal PC or if it was ample?

It's made by corsair so i'm assuming that its very good quality.

Yup, it'll work fine for an average PC. I'm assuming you're not running a top of the line video card, or multiple video cards. You'd probably even be fine on 450W from a solid company like Corsair with a quad core and a top end card. Corsair is a great brand.

The 450W VX can run an overclocked quad core and top end card like HD4870 or GTX280. It'll be ample.
