can't connect psp to computer through usb cord

As stated in my subject I can't connect my psp to my computer through a usb cord, when I do it come up ULUS- 10582 and nothing is inside instead of what's on the memory stick. Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

Correct me if im wrong but there are usually only 2 things that you can access when you have the psp connected to the computer via usb
1.) The memory stick
2.) The UMD Disk's Data (only with cfw)

What are you trying to do?

I was going to put a movie and or change some games on my memory stick, as I stated the psp folders that's on the stick doesn't appear at all, just what I previosly stated

huh. Youve got me there. try some odd things like using a different usb port, taking the memory stick out and putting it back in, or open the mem stick on your computer using the command prompt.

i have flash drives that do that at times.

thanks 4 the suggestions Gr3m taking the stick out and putting it back did the trick thank you!! I have a stick adapter but i'm always misplacing it, I don't lose cords though
