mkv file create chapters help

i got a mkv file coverted it using mkv2vob but how do i create chapters so i can skip from chapter to chapter instead of it being one big movie file without the option to skip chapters.

That might help, but I'm not sure. What I've gathered is that mkv2vob doesn't support chapters. (And mostly I just wanted to try out that site, too.)

I don't know how mkv2vob works, but I'm guessing it doesn't create a regular DVD .vob file.

In that case, you can always use the PS3's new chapter system. Press Square during the movie and you should get thumbnails at regular intervals (which you can change in the Settings). Choose which one you want, click that, and you're good to go.
