hey there, some time ago i burn a dvd that i made, since then i have lost the original footage and i want to go back and re-edit what i have on the DVD. What is the best way of doing this??i want to maintain the quality as it was shot with a DV camera and burn straight to DVD so it looks rather good. Should i just use dvd decrypter to rip the disc, then use DVD2AVI to convert the dvd files to avi, edit and then re-burn?? or is there a program out there that will do it better?

Cheers

Thanx

Try just uploading the files directly to your HD. What editing software did you use to edit the original movie? Once uploaded the editing suite should recognise and allow you to input the files so you can re-edit.
