So I just got finished putting my 30001 in a Flip top case and I got my swap magic discs.

I've tried multiple backups of Capcom vs SNK2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 that haven't worked and furthermore, when I put in the Magic 3 CD rom disc and get to the Swap screen(Both DVD and CD Swap magic discs are noisy as hell btw) it wont even spin my backed up CD-R disc.

I've tried using Alcohol 120% to burn the disc images but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've also tried Power ISO.

Please help me.

The fliptops don't fit so well on all FAT PS2.

I have 2 V7 and each one fits different. On the one I actually have to put some weight on the fliptop, just to keep it quiet.

Just read through Kairu's post here on fliptops. You can start at the top of the page if you want.

To burn the disc images for PS2 CD, alcohol is fine. I wouldn't use Poweriso.
UltraISO is better, but only the latest version's are meant for PS2 and Xbox.
Nero is fine also for CD.

Here is a great guide for burning PS2 CD

I had already replaced the little white disc from my original ps2 case into the new flip top one. The discs spin fine they're just noisy.

The problem is mainly that I can't get CD-rs to work or even DVD's. Right now I'm having no success whatsoever.

My ps2 is reading and spinning my orignal discs just fine but it will not load any backups whatsoever.

I will try Ultra iso or nero though for the CD issue. Do you think that will help with the DVDs too?

Most of us use Imgburn to burn PS2 DVD backups. ITs free.
Use good quality media and burn at 4x and you should be good.

Ok then the reason your PS2 is noisy is its having a hard time with the CD-R you burned.
Burn CD at about 12-16x speed.

What brand CD-R are you using?
